Better waistband and nice fit
These crepe pants are not as form fitting as the previous iteration —which I love! They are still a slim fit but, in my opinion, more versatile. I like the ankle slit in the back and I also appreciate the wider waistband that does not get twisted and sits better. I purchased the medium and like the fit. Very comfortable. I’m 5’10” and wear an 8/10 in pants. The length is good hitting me at my ankle.

No dice...again
For years I wore EF washable stretch crepe pants and loved them. The leg was slim, and even though I am short, the ankle length fit me perfectly as a regular length pant. I am still wearing several of those, although some are on their last legs, so to speak. But a couple of years ago everything changed: the legs on the new ones were wider and longer. They were too long and looked dumpy. I kept trying new versions to no avail. Why is the Eileen Fisher company changing what was perfect?(I'm still mourning the loss of my perfect viscose jersey leggings; in fact the loss of viscose jersey altogether.)
I'm an optimist. I saw the slim leg cropped ones on line and thought, "they are a slim leg and 26" inseam. Maybe they will fit me." No. If they had a 26" inseam, they might have fit, but it was 27", with an extra long rise. I'm returning them.

The fabric feels different from older versions
I prefer the softer version with a shorter side slit of old. Having purchased these a couple of times in years past, I was disappointed in the stiffer feel of the fabric in this new pair. The look is not as sleek and polished and they show wrinkles after a short period of crossing my rather slender legs. They are still practical and I will wear them, but with less confidence for dressier occasions.

Unfortunately the pants are not for me
The pants are listed as cropped and slim. They are way too big, especially in the hips and are as long as ankle pants on me and I have long legs. I was sorely disappointed. And no other “cropped” slim pants are available this year. I too do not care for the slits in the back. They are being returned.

I purchased the white pant…love the design. Particularly of note is the deep hem and sexy slit at the back edge of the pant leg! Wore it immediately with an older Eileen sweater with side slits echoing the pant design. Wonderful addition to my wardrobe!

Fabric could be better
Fabric could be a little more stretchy/soft. Happy to see the large waistband. The 1cm elastic used in other pants is not as flexible as it was in the past, making other styles not feasible.
