Perfect for keeping you warm under outer clothing

Perfect silk undergarment to replace my expired one. The weight and feel of this is very nice. I will be wearing these daily during the winter months. The weave is dense, substantial and feels wonderful on the skin. I thought I would need a Medium as in other tops, but the Small was generous enough. I actually bought both sizes.

Shrinks

I bought this top in black and ivory. I wore the black top to a work event. It was beautiful. Fit great. Looked great. I hand washed it in cold water with a detergent made for silk and let it air dry. It shrank. The length is a full 3/4” shorter and the arm holes are now visibly higher when compared to the unwashed shirt. I’m going to try to stretch the fabric, but I’m not hopeful. Very disappointed and I’m afraid to wear the other shirt.

Thinner fabric than of yore.

I have a number of the stretch silk tanks, and they have lasted me years. This one felt thinner — so I weighed it to check and it was indeed over an ounce. lighter than previous ones. This impacts the drape and makes it look less sophisticated I would be really upset if I’d paid full price. I do love the color and the style, so I kept it.
