Love These Slacks
I have purchased quite a few EileeN Fisher pieces through the years but the are my favorite! I own the in black, navy, grey and now barley! At 64, I do not feel comfortable wearing or comfortable in “skinny” cuts. These ankle pants offer comfort AND style. They pack beautifully, can be worn with casual flip flops in summer, booties in winter and pumps for business occasions. They are versatile, easy to launder (even while traveling) and hold their shape. They are an investment piece in my mind. Still wearing those I purchased 8 years ago! As I’m only 5’4”, they are a bit longer on my leg but still show a little ankle.

Horrible Fabric
I have been buying Eileen Fisher for many years, and I have the previous version of "crepe" pants. This version is terrible; the fabric is rough to the touch, scratchy, and just plain ugly. I still have the previous version, and while they are not really "crepe," they are much nicer fabric. Eileen Fisher sold her company to her employees, and, in my opinion they are ruining it.

the quality is not there
I ordered these for an upcoming vacation. I ordered a size down per the website and reviews, but they were still HUGE on me and about 6 inches too long. I have muscular legs but there was so much excessive fabric I looked like I had elephant skin. The quality was not what I expected either, the fabric is thin and cheap looking. I feel I could I could have gotten something with a better fit and quality at a lower price.

Absolutely awful
The fabric is absolutely awful: totally plastic. Ordered size small (I'm 6' tall, 125 lbs or less) and it was huge on me. Eileen Fisher used to be a brand I could depend on for quality and sizing but sadly not any more. Returned immediately.

Just Awful
I don’t know what’s going on with Eileen Fisher, but I have been so disappointed lately. These pants were shapeless, the material scratchy and uncomfortable. I don’t know where they got the description. The photo showed ankle pants. These pants were LONG. I am returning them pronto. Just awful.

Expensive leggings... it is a no for me
I ordered the brown color hoping to have neutral work pants to combine with the rest of my wardrobe. I ordered a size x-s . I usually wear a size s (4) in pants. The fabric & color of the pants were nice. However, they fit like leggings. I am on the curvier/athletic side. I avoid attracting attention to my butt at work, so I do not feel comfortable wearing leggings to work, so I had to return these. Additionally, these are very expensive for pants that look and feel like leggings. I would not recommend. If you are looking to invest in light color work pants, I recommend High Waist Wide Leg Ponte Pants ($198) or Reiss Tia Pintuck Pleat Pants ($245). Reiss pants are more expensive but the fabric & design are much better than this particular pair of pants.
