Skirted Ankle Leggings

I had to look at the label to double-check if it was actually Eileen Fisher. The quality is poor. The leggings are a thin material, that seems as if they will stretch out at the knees or become thread bare at the knees. Plus there really isn’t much in the way of a waistband so the top of the skirt is a bit weird. Perhaps they did that for comfort, but they in turn took away from the appearance.

Finally got a hold of these! I tried to get them direct from EF but they were sold out for a while, so I snagged them from Nordstrom. I got my usual EF size small, and they fit, however I wish they were thicker OR had a bit more compression because I feel as if they are not snug enough. They definitely aren't too big, but they feel a bit too lightweight against my skin and give the sensation that they won't stay up. Anyways, I am 5'10 and the length is PERFECT on me, so for those who are shorter and complaining about them being too long, please think about how others out there have the opposite problem - at least when you're short, you can get things hemmed. Being tall means that VERY few pieces of clothing have extra fabric we can let out to make longer - for example, these leggings. I am happy they are as long as they are because I would not have been able to add length to them.

I have three prior pairs of these, and I was thrilled to see that Eileen Fisher brought them back. Unfortunately, they have changed the fabric, length of skirt, and length of leggings. I could not be more disappointed. They are going back. If anyone at Eileen Fisher needs to see the original ones, call me. I could use a few more!
