The Ultimate "Easy Elegance" Dress
I am absolutely in love with this dress! It is the epitome of "easy elegance." I purchased it in Black, size Small, and it fits like a dream. For reference, I am 5’4”, 174 lbs, and typically a Medium in bottoms. The fit is incredibly flattering—it’s tailored perfectly through the chest and shoulders but opens up into a beautiful, flowy drape toward the hem. At my height, it hits right above my ankles.
The Woven Plissé fabric is the star here—the crinkled texture gives it a high-end look that hides wrinkles, making it perfect for travel. It feels lightweight enough for summer but has enough substance for spring and fall layering. I can easily dress this up with heels or keep it casual with sandals.
Eileen Fisher, please bring this out in more colors!

Very thin fabric
I loved the color of the dress, the length was good, the fit was ok on a looser side which is great for summer. But I felt like the fabric was super thin like showing all your imperfections… I would need to wear like a slip under.. its is not cotton linen or silk either which is important for summer. I think EF is going more synthetic these days… Returned.

Beautiful and versatile dress

Shapeless and Unflattering
I have another EF dress in this wonderful fabric and color, as well as a few items in various other colors of plisse. But this dress is beyond unflattering. I am 5’7” and it was ankle length ballooning out from the top. It definitely fits large - really large . My XL was just too big. I was really hoping for a plisse dress with sleeves of some sort. The fabric is amazing for travel, but this was a no go.

Lovely warm weather dress
I purchased this dress on a whim and am happy I did. Easy, breezy, and lovely fabric. Great that there is NOT a slit. Nice length. An unusual transparency I wouldn't expect with this fabric, but not a deal breaker. 4 stars because I prefer more of a sleeve. That said, the sleeves cover my arms pretty well for being so short. Will wear casually but can always dress it up. I haven't laundered yet.
