Nope. Not well made nor a sustainable fabric
I cannot fathom why others rate this highly. The skirt is not well made — simple wrapped elastic waistband that is unattractive if you tuck in a blouse. The fabric is apparently so fragile that it has to be shipped in a tube to prevent the pleats from being crushed or creased, so can you imagine what sitting in it would do? The fabric is also very thin, not anything close to winter weight north of Georgia. I’ve worn pleated wool crepe before that has movement and a lovely drape— this is stiff by comparison. Definitely returned.

Fabulous Fit
Wonderful forgiving fit. I have a little tummy the pleats concerned me but no reason to worry, the drape of the skirt is wonderful. I purchased the oversized sweater to complete the look. Will get a lot of use, one of those outfits that works in so many social situations.

Disappointed overall
I had been waiting for this pleated skirt to go on sale and jumped at the chance to buy it at the reduced price. I usually wear an XL in Eileen Fisher clothing, but ordered the L because of reviews commenting that the waist was too big. I probably could have gone with a M, but kept the L. While the skirt looks great on, I was disappointed in the quality of the fabric; it doesn’t feel like “woven wool and silk.” I have yet to wear the skirt, so I can’t comment on how well the pleats hold up. I am keeping the skirt, as I purchased it for a specific event next month.

Fine quality as always
The skirt was more than expected, I’m glad I ordered petite size if not it would be long for me. But the petite size was perfect ( I’m 5”4). Color is as pictured and the design is so very nice.
