wool vest

I bought this pretty long wool vest in store in small/ Petite size. It is adorable and I have been wearing it everyday since then even in this Californian summer. It is textured wool material, so it is really light wight and falls softly. The notch collar and the shape of it is really complimentary and very feminine. It fits me perfect for my 5'2" height . The front concealed pockets give it a real elegant look. I have received so many compliments and have been stopped while shopping by other ladies who wanted to take a closer look and wanted to know as to where did I buy it from !! It is versatile and goes with almost everything from a dress to Dress pants to jeans I will get a great wear out of it and it is every penny worth the price

Not Happy

I have many Eileen Fisher items including a short boiled wool vest. I love it and got excited when I saw this longer one. I'm 5 ' 6" tall, long waisted and weigh 144lbs. and this vest makes me look frumpy. It is at least 4 inches too long. Knowing that Eileen Fisher is all over the place in sizing, I ordered a small and medium. Even though I'm I 5' 6", 144lbs the small is the correct size. Really disappointed and annoyed that I used my last triple points on this item. They both go back.

wool vest

Notch Collar Long Merino Wool Vest

Loved this vest as soon as I tried on...was not looking for this but thought sharp and very versatile for the winter months. Wore for about 6 hours and the material is balling up in many place on the vest. Totally unacceptable... For the price of $398.00 for a vest...this should not be occurring...after all it is Eileen Fisher. Will be returning this to Nordstroms.

Much Cuter than it Might Seem

Thought this might look matronly, but find it is quite nice, and a different take on both vests and long sweaters for a change. Great with almost anything from dress clothing to jeans. A closet staple.

Basic but unique

I'm sure I'll love wearing this beautiful best. It's cut to be very flattering. It will be easy to accessorize too. Eileen Fisher is made so well. I'm glad I was able to get it on sale.

Almost there

Ordered this in the charcoal in my usual EF size XS (Eileen Fisher is one size down from your usual). It's a really nice pice, but I found the armholes too large. They gaped just enough to distract me every time I looked in the mirror. I loved it otherwise - the usual impeccable quality, a flattering, long silhouette, and lovely wool. But those armholes. Dang. I'm small-chested, so perhaps a larger bust would fill this out.
