Jewel Neck Organic Cotton Blend Sweater

The sweater is precisely the appropriate thickness. It is thick enough to keep its shape. The ultramarine hue is stunning and looks great with both white and dark jeans. It descends to the upper/middle hip. One disadvantage is that it has a strong chemical odor, almost stenchy. I ran the sweater in the dryer for 20 minutes and then let it air dry to remove the chemical, but it still smells after a week on the hanger. I generally pre-wash the majority of my outfits before wearing them, but I didn't wash this sweater since I wanted to savor the incredibly lovely blue hue. My other Eileen Fisher organic cotton sweaters don't smell as awful.

The fabric on this sweater is a little thinner than I was expecting and seems thinner than two similar Eileen Fisher sweaters that I recently purchased at Nordstrom Rack. The blue color is stunning. I’ve begun purchasing Eileen Fisher sweaters in xxs instead of my usual xs. The drape is still good and the sleeve length is better. 5’1”, 125 pounds. With this sweater I can still wear a collared shirt underneath but it takes a bit of adjusting with the sleeves.
