Essential simple layer!
Fantastic lightweight classic coat; I took this as a key layer on a trip to Italy and it was just perfect. Stylish and simple on its own, and when combined with a vest it provided enough warmth to be comfortable over a 30-degree temperature range.

Poor quality
I agree with the reviewer who called this a silly jacket. I'd go so far as to call it ridiculous. It is thin, unlined, wrinkled, with floppy facings, pockets that are not sewn down, and an uncomfortable bungee cord at the neckline. It is not warm or waterproof or even water resistant. Compared to a decade-old EF jacket still hanging in my closet, this is not worthy. Returned.

Rain passes through to your clothing underneath.
Bought this last fall in the blue at Nordstrom, full price. Love the classic styling, which looks good on my 5'10" frame, and it's perfect for travel. It doesn't claim to be waterproof, but with the nylon content, I assumed it would repel rain. It doesn't. Got caught
in the rain last week, and within five minutes the front of my cotton tee underneath was wet. The oversized hood protected my hair, for the most part. It doesn't repel water... but it has classic styling. If that's what you're looking for, you'll probably be happy with your purchase. I expected more at this price.

Stylish Simplicity & Comfortable
Comfy. Stylish. However, to zip and unzip is a challenge. The stitch tension on bottom hem and the sleeve cuffs is tight resulting in undesirable puckers. This was the last one in “PP”, so I kept it. I am 5’ 2, 125 lbs.

Nice.....but
Having read the reviews, I was prepared for something without a lining and likely overpriced. I would say I agree. It's a nice, flattering style, but basically an elevated windbreaker (more durable because of the nylon). I got mine on a promo, so at least it wasn't full price, plus I adore the Deep Adriatic color, which was basically the reason I purchased. A very deep blue/teal that is absolutely gorgeous (definitely different than the navy you probably already have in your closet!). Overall, this coat is not the smartest purchase I have ever made, but sometimes a piece just doesn't tick all boxes. This is one of those for me. A keeper (probably), and only because of the color.
