High Collar Jacket

I adore this high collar jacket. It has quickly become my go-to work blazer. Incredible drape, movement. Please please make this shape permanent, with other colors and fabrics, like stretch crepe. This is a blazer, not a coat. I think the negative reviews may have come from folks that were expecting a different kind of garment. Fabric is heavy ponte. This is a perfect blazer, slightly swingy/a-line with gives it beautiful drape (more swing/a-line garments please!). Perfect for apples, straight shapes, inverted traingles, diamond shapes. The on-seam pockets are perfect. Patch pockets are not on trend nor flattering, (but EF seems to be leaning into them hard this season-- no thank you) - this jacket is professional and sleek and minimalistic and a tiny bit mysterious. Highly recommend, 5/5.

As a university professor, for lunch meetings, conferences, and more formal days of teaching, I reach for this jacket again and again with either the wide-leg or slim Ponte pant. All in black, I add one of three colors of the EF silk shirts. Purchased Spring 2022 in XXS, it was all a perfect fit as I am 5"3". Fall 2022, the XXS silk shirts were wider and longer in the sleeve and I needed to return. This is a lovely and comfortable suiting choice where a formal suit is seldom any longer necessary. Just watch as the sizing seems to change season to season.
