delicate seersucker
Received this the other day and it is truly like a delicate seersucker. The stripes are well defined but understated and a great color. If it's anything like another shirt I have from a couple of years ago, you wash it and smooth it out and air dry (I use double identical hangers to eliminate shoulder bumps). I tend to go up a size so it can be comfortably worn as a buttoned tunic to so there are no gaps when sitting. More often than not I wear this style as a very light weight jacket over a tank/cami. It might be hot outside but stores etc. are often chilly. Ladies of an age are never happy with the temperature :-)
Personally, I prefer the longer lengths. The short length seems to hit me at the worst spot. Good thing there are choices! I am 5'4 but give a taller appearance (long legs) but I can see how this might not be a good length for petites. The stepped hem is only about an inch difference between the front and back and really isn't noticeable when wearing the shirt. Gorgeous fabric --- you get what you pay for unless you have a coupon or it's on sale!
