Why
Just why?! I ordered this shirt in the beautiful Blue Violet, carried at several department stores. When it arrived, I could not believe my eyes. It was so ridiculously short, it barely covered my stomach. What is going on with this cropped length in tops and sweaters? I could not return this quickly enough, which is sad, as the fabric and color were gorgeous.

Dreaming of Petite Sizing
My go-to is normally a Petite Medium, but this "standard" length looked like a possibility.
Sometimes I have good luck with a Regular Medium, but not this time. The fabric is gorgeous, but it is very stretchy, and the shirt is huge! I have re-ordered it in small, and hope that one size down will work. Please, please make more standard length tops, and make more plisse in petites. Thigh length at 30" overwhelms me. ( A few in my closet are more than enough to cover my tights.)

Fantastic travel shirt.
This shirt is what I built a wardrobe around on a 16-day trip to Paris with one unchecked suitcase and a daybag. The fabric did not crease in a tightly packed case. It had one fold that fell out after hanging overnight. It can be dressed up (looks wonderful with pearl accessories). During the day I wore to museums with an EF black silk georgette tank that hung below the shirt and fluttered when I walked. Very elegant. Combine the shirt and tank with EF straight-leg stretch-crepe pants, another travel mainstay of mine. At home I washed the shirt in a mesh bag on cold delicate. It perfectly kept its shape.
