Classic Collar Organic Linen Long Button-Up Shirt

Love EF linen shirts and have a large collection of them in various sizes and colors. However the lilac frost, a beautiful color, was just a bit too see-threw for my senior taste and I don’t wear camisoles under my shirts in the summer. Of course it’s in the same lightweight lovely linen that EF is known for but I’m returning it for a darker color. Always love the extra long sleeves in these that I can roll up or cover the backs of my hands. My dermatologist has recommended wearing collared, long sleeved shirts, long pants, socks with footwear, and wide brimmed hats for outdoor activities and gardening for extra sun protection, especially in Denver’s higher elevation.

I bought this for a cruise. There is crinkle and there is wrinkle. Being organic linen you can’t expect to get a hard smooth press, but this came in the color of green so noticeably wrinkled and creased that I knew I would not be able to unpack all that volume of fabric …even wrapped in tissue paper… and iron on the ship. The black color may be less noticeable but I really wanted that color. BTW, as happens, the internet colors can be more vibrant than the actual.

Nice lightweight linen, not see through. I went by the size chart & recommendation said ‘ runs large’. So… I got petite medium & was anticipating its arrival. Just came, tried it on & I can’t get it buttoned!!! I doubt the PL would fit & now it’s only available in the bright green. Very disappointed. I am a 36C/38B. Recently returned Eileen Fisher linen blend pull on pants I really loved, got “recommended” PL, waist was horrendously large & about 3” too long. Can’t wait for more EF purchased items:(. I am 80 miles from a Nordstrom store so can’t easily try things on in a store.
