What it does: Developed by skin cancer surgeon, Dr. Antony Nakhla, this zinc-only SPF primer is formulated with EpiZinc™—a proprietary, non-chemical, non-nanoparticle, sheer mineral sunscreen with natural pigments to neutralize white cast for all skin types and tones. This primer helps improve uneven skin tone and reduce the appearance of large pores. It primes skin for makeup application, and it can be worn without makeup to even skin tone and protect skin from sun damage. The reef-safe formula does not contain chemical UV filters like oxybenzone or octinoxate.
Key ingredients:
- Mineral Sunscreen: a zinc-only mineral SPF that creates a physical barrier between your skin and the sun, acting as a guard against UV light
- Non-Nano Particles: considered the safest form of SPF; free of nanoparticles, the micronized forms of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide often found in traditional mineral sunscreens

How to use: Use daily and as the last step in your morning skincare routine. Apply to fingertips and gently sweep over the face and neck. Be sure to apply liberally and evenly to face 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply as directed.
