New and Worse Eyeshadow formula :(
This palette sadly missed the mark for me. The packaging is amazing, but the shadows inside are not like the old Melt quality. I own almost every palette this brand has released… it makes me sad that Melt might be going down a new road :( Beetlejuice was so much better :/

Good color story
These stay all day for me when I apply them at 4 am getting ready for work. I love the lavender and the shimmers. I like the color story and for me they blend well and stay put with zero creasing.

Perfect
I received this as a Christmas gift after talking about it for months lol. I'm a big fan of the movie and own a lot of the palettes and stacks Melt has released. This is a beautiful color story with incredible packaging and a ton of little references to the film fans can appreciate. The colors are unique, with I love you in particular being an incredibly shifty blue-purple duochrome with a dense, glittery texture. It's so beautiful and glowy. Ice Angel is also a special shade, it's not shifty but is a nice icy blue with the same texture. Kim is more of a topper, I have some trouble with it but on the inner corners or to accent the center of the lid on top of the other shimmers, it's nice. Edward is the perfect neutral taupe and is almost an every day kind of color if shimmer is your thing. I love this shade on the lid with unusual guest in the crease and the inventor on the outer lid, it makes a hazy shimmery green-grey smoky eye that I can't stop doing. I've been using freak and the inventor for a denim smoky wing with blue mascara. There's so many looks in the color story, I only yearn for a pastel pink and maybe a shimmery mint. I love this palette so very much and think they did an incredible job with this collection and I remain a huge fan of Melts products and the movies they pick for collections is always spot on. I'm waiting for Addams family and Coraline collections patiently lol.

Mixed feelings
I was super excited to get this palette. The colour story is great: not only it conveys the mood from the movie but it is also very fun and versatile. The shimmers are the prettiest Melt has ever made. Edward, I love you and Snow angel are the prettiest and make me happy every time I use them. Kim is nice but more like a topper without a base. Sadly, the mattes are nowhere near close to the formula that Melt got so famous for. They are very stiff, blend away way too easily and don't have the same longevity as usual Melt's matte shadows. I've tried them with different primers and brushes (including Melt brushes). I don't know if it's the change of manufacturer or maybe I got a dud. It breaks my heart to give this only 3 stars.
