Great work shoes. Wide size! Clear metal detector!
I have owned two Ecco City pairs. They were great! Then Ecco dropped the line. These Metropole Derbys seem to have replaced the City’s. As I airline pilot, these meet the standards for our uniform, and don’t set off the metal detector! So far the wider size of this Derby has worked with my wide foot size.

Meh... It's okay
This shoe is okay if you want something comfortable, a little wider than usual or have a voluminous foot, or just want a dull looking shoe for the arsenal. Personally, this is the ugliest shoe I've owned - and it sits on the rack as a result. My wife gave me the sour face look when she saw me wearing them around the house one day. Retail price also seems a bit high for what you get. I gave it 3 stars but would have given 2.5 if it were an option. I think we can do better gents.

Excellent shoes
The shoe is the same size and model as the one set I have but they somehow hurt my two of my toes on my left foot. That is the one that is Hammertoe and, I believe, it will be just wearing them to soften them to be able to use them.
