Not Ecco quality
Had other Ecco before, love it, so I ordered this one at my normal size 5, it was too BIG, returned and waited months for size 4-4.5. Just started to wear it today (6/18/2016) barefoot, my god, i couldn't finish my grocery shopping in ACME, both adjustable hook-and-loop straps hurt my feet so much, I had to loose bothside and wore it as slipper to get home and changed shoes.... I found plastic "thorns" at the adjustable hook-and-loop straps. What a shame for Ecco shoes!!!

So disappointed
I was looking for a dressy-enough but comfortable sandal for an upcoming trip to Hong Kong. The pewter color was great and the footbed very confortable but the straps were stiff and rubbed my ankle and instep almost immediately, and I couldn’t take the chance that they’d soften up.

Velcro strap closures are cheap and bulky
I purchased these sandals sight unseen, mail order, on the recommendation of a saleswoman because the similar pair I wanted (and bought previously at Nordstrom was no longer available at Nordstrom. I specifically said, " No velcro!" But when they arrived ...Velcro ... cheapens the look and is bulky and uncomfy. In fact the whole shoe sizing seemed off. They are going back (I found the original sandal I wanted on Zappos and it arrived today, perfect).

Fit well, comfortable, could be cuter
They're comfortable, and they look okay--not fantastic looks-wise, but nice. I haven't worn them yet. I was looking for a nice sandal I could walk all over London in and the country and be comfortable but also a cute sandal. It's so hard to find. My last pair were Miz Mooz and they are very cute but the sole wore down very quickly, I've had Ecco shoes many times before and found them comfortable and also long-wearing, so I'm hopeful these will be, too. It seems sandals now have velcro rather than a buckle. I'm a little unsure of this, I hope it holds up. I'm fine with buckling my shoes if any market research people are interested!!

Cheap Leather-like but NOT like the good stuff!
Cheap and not at all like the old brand. Quality is way down on this item. Not like the photo--in real life seems like a knock-off and the new kind of spray on leather coating that is in the news. Try TAOS for top quality leather and super comfy arch support. Taos looks good in Europe!

Cute but not very adjustable or cushioned
The Flash sandal by ECCO is very lightweight and flattering. However, the Velcro on the strap isn't long enough to tighten down, due to my narrow feet. There is no adjustment to the rather stiff toe straps. The sole doesn't have much cushioning. So, I am regretfully going to send these back. I hope the designers solve these problems and make a more cushioned and adjustable (but cute) sandal.
