What it is: A solid perfume balm designed to be applied with the fingertips and fragranced with the many scents a rose takes on throughout its lifetime. It is a way to make the invisible sensual and the ethereal tangible.
Fragrance story: A culmination of fragrances from a rosebud to the rose in full bloom. Pick up the petals of a rose, add its green leaves, its stem and its buds. Immerse in clear water and wait to reveal its rosy delicateness, fruity accents and acidulated green notes.
Style: Floral.
Notes: rose damascena, rose centifolia, litchi accord, ambroxan.
How to use: Apply the solid perfume on your pulse points with your fingertips, where your body gives off the most heat; on your wrists and inside your elbows; at the base of your neck, behind your ears and on your décolleté.

Received this gift as a birthday present and honestly one of my favourite gifts ever. Firstly the casing is weighted and has the most beautiful sketch/design in the front. The balm itself smells so comforting and floral - I love bringing it out when with friends and applying onto pulse points. Also it fits perfectly in my bag and great for an on the go scent boost

Great for on the go
I love Dipytique's rose collection, and was eyeing this because the perfume was slightly out of budget so I thought I'd give this a shot. I love the packaging as its sleek, beautifully designed artwork and is a good size to fit into my purses/handbags. Its quite a subtle scent but I love applying after a shower, and layering on with perfume

Not my favourite scent
I love the packaging of this solid perfume, it has a heavy weight to it and a beautiful design. The rose scent is okay, not really into rose scents but good news is that these are refillable so I would purchase a different solid scent refill to try when this finishes.

Beautiful
I was lucky enough to receive this as a gift recently. Wow, what a beautiful compact! It's much smaller than it appears (to me) in the photos - around 4cm x 5cm. Very sweet. A good weight. Feels very special to use. It comes with a little velvet-esque bag to keep it in, too. The solid perfume itself has a nice, velvety texture and smells very strongly in the compact. When applied to the skin, on me, the scent does last and project for several hours, after which it becomes a skin scent. I can see in the other reviews that some people found that the scent doesn't last well on them, so I suppose that goes to show how different we all are. I could definitely smell the rose for the majority of the day. I haven't tried the actual perfume version of this so I can't compare the two. Would highly recommend, especially as a gift!

Smells good but does not last
I loved the smell of rose and packaging (even though it's a bit heavy while the perfume is only 3g), but I was really disappointed with how short it lasts on the skin! With that price, you expect this perfume to last at least a couple of hours. It vanishes after 30 minutes. I have applied it to all the pulse areas as recommended. I asked a friend to tell me if she could smell it after 1 hour, and she said not at all.
