Eau de Parfum Travel Trio $100 Value

I just got this in the Nordstrom fall sale in July of 2022, thinking that I'd try these out as Diptyque has been super popular these few years. It's a really great set as they're all EDPs instead of EDTs, and gives you a nice variety of floral scents. I'm typically not that into florals, but I really like these after I give them a little bit of time to mellow after spraying. The packaging is also to die for, I love the little pretty cardboard box that it comes in, it's just such a luxurious experience. I really like layering Fleur de Peau and Do Son together, the combination (oddly enough) reminds me of an Asian temple on a rainy day, must be the sandalwood and the tuberose/jasmine notes being mashed together. Do Son didn't smell great on its own at first to me since I'm not a tuberose fan and I thought it had a little edge, but it definitely mellows out. Fleur de Peau is so unique standalone, there's something beautifully vegetal and herbaceous about it, a little sweet and peppery and soil-like as it evolves. Eau Rose is a fresh, green, light rose, surprisingly good sillage and rounder than I expected, though I do think you need a little time between spray and smelling it to really appreciate it. Do Son and Eau Rose have better longevity than Fleur de Peau, though they all aren't that long lasting. I'm probably going to buy full sizes of all of these minis at some point, maybe in the winter since I don't really want my fragrances stewing in a hot delivery truck.
