Color is more like scarlet than cherry
The fit on this shirt is true to size, and. it’s a very striking color. It is, however, more off a scarlet red than a cherry red—in other words, more on the orange side of red than the pink/ purple side of red. It is definitely red, but just do not be misled by the name
