Returned this item
Backpack newby here, so I ordered this Eastpack backpack--what I considered to be not-too-crunchy, friendly colored backpack. Unfortunately, it was way too stiff for me, esp. the "padded" back and straps. The color was a bit too washed out and there were no pockets. What?! No pockets in a backpack! Returned the item.

A Good Choice for Country Walks
I had to order five backpacks to find the right one (s), as I needed to see them in real before deciding. I liked this one, ordered in orange, but it wasn't quite right to double as a purse, as I needed it to do. Well made with a roomy interior, the Eastpak also had comfortable padded straps. In spite of its jaunty look, and after some deliberation, I returned it in favor of two other non-leather backpacks that suited my needs better.
