Too small
I have another pair of these in blue in size 10. They fit perfect from the get go. However, the size 10 in black were cut much smaller. And I wouldn’t be able to wear them and stretch them out. Yes, that much smaller. Not Nordstrom’s fault rather the makers. I kept them and gave them to my daughter in law…who wears a 9. They fit her perfectly.

UNCOMFORTABLE! Opening strikes on big toe joint
Positive: The leather is very soft. Cool twist.
Negative: The toe box is short, so the opening (& hard seam) land directly on each big toe's main joint. The pressure is uncomfortable & even painful to walk in. I'm not willing to feel pain & get blisters, while hoping they might loosen. No arch support either.

Very comfortable shoe and very nice quality!
In spite of the fact that these are well-made, comfortable shoes, I'll be returning them because they run just large enough that my heel pops out with every step. Otherwise, great quality and a great value for the price.
