looks like plastic but is not plastic
I needed to “urgently” buy a hair brush. Nordstrom didn’t have a lot of choice on site, so I had to decide between this one and one from another known brand. The other one looked nicer with its wooden material and was just slightly more expensive. I decided to go with this one because this one specifically said wet hair brush. I was worried because it looked so cheap in the package. Its actually heavy (not too heavy) abs brushes my hair out really well. Wet or dry. It goes through my hair smoothly. My old less expensive brush would always get stuck. Plus I can easily find the brush where ever I put it due to the color.

Smelly brush
Recently purchased. Once removed from the packaging, I was immediately met with a very unpleasant and terrible smell. The yellow portion of this brush stinks. I’ve left it out hoping it’ll dissipate, but at this point no luck, just smelly. Due to that, I will be returning.

Great for Blowouts
I have used the larger Drybar round brush for years but wanted something that would be quicker for blowing my hair out straight. This is a great option if you have thick and/or long hair as it’s very sturdy and has a wide surface area. I did knock off one star for the strong smell that is mentioned in another review. It doesn’t bother me, but was noticeable at first.

Quality is Suspect
I loved this brush the first few months I had it. It has a good weight and was great for blow drying my hair. However, the little brush tips quickly disintegrated and now it is is painfully sharp on my scalp. I give it 3 stars because it was great while new....but I'll try a different brand for my next brush. Oh and it did smell weird new, but that went away after awhile.
