What it is: A must-have formula that provides flexible, long-lasting volume.
What it does: Its featherlight, velvety formula coats each hair strand to create tons of body for a beautiful, lively look that's free of stiffness or crunchiness. The mousse envelops each hair strand to prevent dryness and breakage, and boosts resilience for strength and longer-lasting styles. Overworked hair is left nourished and hydrated. It's fragranced with notes of sandalwood, vanilla and jasmine.
How to use: Shake well. Apply a generous dollop to damp hair from roots to ends. Style as usual.

To say this product is a miracle worker would be an understatement. I have very thin, fine hair that when gathered into a pony tail is the size of a regular persons pigtail. I have never had luck with any other volumizing products but gave this a whirl when I smelled it for the first time-- it smells so great. Result from use? My hair is not only volumized, but is shinier from root to tip, softer, smells amazing, isn't crunchy, greasy, or otherwise anything less than perfect. It got even better when I saw that it didn't make my hair greasy the day after I slept on it (and it still had volume!). I also use the Dry Bar Triple-Sec to texturize when I'm done and these products pair perfectly with one another!

Product stopped dispensing after few uses
If I wrote a review on a first day using this product, it probably would be higher but unfortunately, the can stopped dispensing the product after few uses. The can is almost full but stopped working. I tried to clean the nozzle, replace the nozzle and nothing worked. For this price, I am very unhappy about this. Would it recommend .

its ok
It works ok I wasn't blown away by the volume it created. I don't really like the smell, very heavy on the sandalwood notes. I'm sensitive to smells, so it might not bother everyone. I'm glad I bought the small size. I don't think I'll repurchase after I'm done.

Short-lived volume mousse
Before I start my view, I need to say maybe my hair could be the hopeless case. I have flat lifeless long fine hair, good part is they are very healthy and silky. I haven’t had much luck finding products that work for my hair. Now this mousse worked for me. But will need to put a lot on. I mean a lot. My 1st try, I didn’t put too much to cover my hair from root to end. It didn’t do much after blow dry. But smell great. The next time, I really loaded the mousse to cover my hair nicely. I couldn’t believe what I saw after blow dry – I had so much hair, soft and very full! I was so excited…. However, the excitement didn’t last long. The fullness fade away in a couple hours. After a night sleep, my hair went back to flat shape, and the nice smell was gone with everything else…

Perfect!
I, too, have fine, fly-away hair, and this product is absolutely the best mousse that I have ever used.

Volume!
this is my favorite product by Drybar, well actually anyone, this actually gives my hair volume and lift. I have very fine hair and nothing seems to work. This stuff is awesome

Disappointed
I was very excited to try this product after reading so many positive reviews. Unfortunately, I was not lucky enough to have it work on my thin, fine hair. At first I tried using a little of this product and my hair was limp. I then tried using a medium amount of mouse, and then even a lot more product. My hair felt coated and sticky and still limp. It also took me a lot longer to dry my hair which still felt moist and tacky after quite a long drying session. Alas, I will return this mousse and continue to search for a product that might work better for me.
