What it does: Made without silicones, this styling serum reduces blowout time, fights frizz, and protects hair from heat (up to 450°F/232°C) for a long-lasting smooth finish. A pliable polymer blend coats each strand, providing long-lasting style memory and a blend of fruit extracts to help increase moisture, boost shine and control frizz for smoother, healthier-looking hair.
Fragrance story: Fleur fragrance with notes of jasmine, sandalwood and black pepper.
How to use: Work a small dollop into palms and apply evenly from roots to ends. Comb through. Blow-dry as usual. Use lightly on fine hair.

An absolute time saver for blowouts!
Frankly, I am stunned at how well Jump Start works. I used it 5x before reviewing. I have mounds of thick, coarse, frizzy and In general badly behaved hair-it hits the top of my shoulders. I own the highest end blow dryer and brushes, and am skilled with blowouts, but the time was killing me! I could dry/fry my hair for 45-60 minutes and it would still puff up after I was done. I can’t believe this, but I’ve gotten the time down to 25-30 minutes with gorgeous results that last. It actually freaked me out the first 2x I tried it, I simply could not believe this much hair dried so quickly and beautifully. Buying more immediately.

I bought this excited by the reviews. But I was disappointed, left my hair feeling heavy and gross. I will definitely be returning this.

Not great
This product definitely decreases drying time but....the residue it leaves on my hair is not worth it. Weighs my hair down. I have tried using smaller and smaller amounts but without any change to the outcome. Will not be buying again.

Will not dispense - cheap packaging
I was excited to try as Drybar products generally have great reviews. The smell is wonderful when I twisted the cap off to investigate why it would not dispense. I will be returning and not reordering as I don’t want to wait for shipping just to possibly receive the same thing again.

Really works
I absolutely love this stuff. Got a sample from Sephora and needed to have it so I found it on sale at Nordstrom, score! It cuts down on dry time but also keeps away frizz and protects hair. Couldn’t really ask for more, A++++

Love this Serum Hybrid
It’s texture is almost that of a gel/serum it has some slight thickness to it but works well fine-medium texture hair I have found so far. It does cut down drying time and help give hair the shape when drying while polishing strands being dried.
