What it is: An ultimate travel dryer, featuring two temperature settings, a cool shot button and Ionic technology that improves the condition of your hair.

What it does: It increases shine and reduces frizz. amazing

I returned the T3 travel hairdryer when it took forever to dry my hair and I purchased this one. I LOVE IT! I have the big Buttercup dryer and it's amazing, and I was hoping this was compact but powerful and it IS! I travel often and have to bring a dryer since hotel ones are often awful, and this fits the bill. I have Medium/long, fine, straight hair. Best travel dryer I've tried yet!

Very low quality

I bought this hairdryer before the pandemic and stored it in my closet for over a year. When I finally got to go on a trip I packed it in my carry on luggage. It was not man-handled or damaged in any way but when I went to use it the dryer was not working at all! It had never been used so I assume it was defective. I contacted Dry Bar and they said it was out of warranty and offered no help. Way over priced so I would not recommend reading other reviews that also mention poor performance. The brand does not stand behind their product.

amazing

I returned the T3 travel hairdryer when it took forever to dry my hair and I purchased this one. I LOVE IT! I have the big Buttercup dryer and it's amazing, and I was hoping this was compact but powerful and it IS! I travel often and have to bring a dryer since hotel ones are often awful, and this fits the bill. I have Medium/long, fine, straight hair. Best travel dryer I've tried yet!

My favorite purchase!!!!!

I couldn't justify spending this much on a hair dryer. I have arthritis and it was getting hard to stand to blow dry my hair for 10 mins. It was getting hard to reach the back of my hair. I pulled the trigger and bought it and it drys my hair in mins. , reach the back of my head. Leaves my hair full of life. It's light weight.

Better than expected!

I was in need of a new hairdryer just when this travel size buttercup came out and I had to have it! I had high expectations for this hair dryer and it exceeded them. It is super lightweight and is as powerful as the salon hair dryers I have owned in the past. The ability to fold it up and bring it when traveling is a luxury I will never live without again.

Build me up Buttercup : )

Nothing dries your hair better than the Drybar Buttercup! Worth the investment! Have one at home & one at lake home. Needing one for travel I was happy to see this travel size so did not hesitate to purchase. Features cool shot which is invaluable. Comes in cute and functional canvas bag. Your hair will thank you with a smooth non frizzy result every time!

Only lasted 6 months

I really love this blow dryer, I’ve used a different brand for years and decided about 6 months or so ago to splurge on a nicer one. However, I gave it 3 stars because after 6 months of owning it the dryer stopped working. I think it’s important to note that I do not use it daily but more like 3x a week. I was in the middle of drying my hair and it just turned off. I’m disappointed because I would expect the quality and durability to last longer than 6months. Thankfully Nordstrom customer service exchanged it for me. I’m hopeful this one will last longer than 6 months.
