Checkerboard Wide Leg Denim Overalls

I love these! These are soooo fun and big. Like huuuuge. But in the best way. I thought they would be a cropped length but I'm 5'7" and the XL is really long. They drag on the floor in sneakers and I have to wear the overalls with a shoe that has a platform/chunky sole. I love these so much. They seem nicely made and they're loose enough that you get a bit of a breeze across your torso so I think I'd be able to wear them in warmer weather with crop top. Not that anyone can see anything, just that the heaviness of the fabric and the way the garment is cut means the fabric swings a way from your body a lot and doesn't cling to it or feel like its dragging on my body. Right now in winter it's nice paired with a sweater, and I've tried it on with off the shoulder tops and that looks good as well. I never thought there would ever be a pair of overalls that I loved on my curvy frame but these rule

This is a darling well-made pair of overalls. I’m 5 foot 2 and I would need to be at least 6 foot 2 to prevent dragging on the ground. The width of the legs is too wide as well. For me to keep these, I would have to go to the tailor and spend another $100 getting these shortened and narrowed. Too bad I would’ve loved to keep them. For this expensive garment, I would expect that there would be minimal adjustments.
