Yasmin Tiered Dress

This dress had a lot of potential. It fit nicely in the chest area and had adjustable straps, a good overall structure. The layers in the skirt look tame and classy in the photo. I reality, they look like an 80’s prom dress and are really full. They awkwardly are just puffy and don’t rally lay well.

It is a great dress, however I will be returning because the zipper is impossible to close. This is not an issue of the dress being the wrong size because I can get it on, no problem and the sides even overlap when on. However, once it gets to the seam between the bodice and the skirt, the zipper won't budge. It will zip (with some effort) when on the hanger- poor design overall.

Dress the Population are sized odd. Can’t imagine what/who they use for measurements. Ordered 4 dresses (in my size), all were cut much too small (hips, waist, bust). Returned. This one I kept even though it’s not quite right. Will keep because can cover the flaws with a cropped jacket. And, the color is beautiful! Probably will not order this brand again - even though on line, the outfits are stylish.

The material is quite thick which makes the dress feel heavy. I bought to wear in the summer and the weight of the dress is just too much, in my opinion for a summer dress. I ordered in yellow and the color is lovely. The two tiers and the thickness of the material make my bottom half look much larger than it is. Not very flattering. I returned it.
