Lovely dress, but the sash is a bit much.
Ordered this dress in my usual size and it fits beautifully. I do wish it came in a petite version because I am short waisted and wish the bodice was a bit shorter. The fabric is high quality and flattering. The one thing that I’m a bit iffy on is the tie/sash on it. It’s stitched to the back on either side of the zipper so you don’t have the option to wear it without the sash, but the tie is SO LONG. You have to do wraps around your torso and then tie it in a bow and it can be tricky to get it to lay right. I do really like it so I think I’ll be keeping it regardless, but thought the details might be helpful for others!

Love the dress but not the straps!!!
The color is same as the picture, very elegant yellow! The shape of the dress fits the body very well! I had 2 other dresses from Dress the Population, I'm happy with the 3rd one! It's almost a perfect dress, but the only thing you need to watch out is the straps. Some people may like it, but it's not my type, so I will go to a tailor and get rid of it. Just FYI, i'm 5'3 and 120 lbs, S fits me well.

Lovely Marigold Dress
The material is not soft, but it is thick and gives. Wonderful if you have loads of curves. I have had a real hard time finding flattering snug dresses post giant babies. This works.
It hides a lot already without Spanx. I have a long torso at 5'9 and the waist was not too high as I could adjust straps.
For the sash, I wrapped around and knotted. No problem. Will surprisingly need no alterations.
