Uma Floral Embroidered Lace Dress

I’m 5’5” and 139 lbs, purchased a small and it fit like a glove, no alterations needed. I’m a 34D and that helped fill the dress out, I didn’t wear a bra, I hate strapless bras. I thought the overlay of the dress would end up getting caught in things because it’s so delicate, but I had no issues at all. I’m also wearing 5 inch heels because I needed to balance out the length of the dress. Got a ton of complements! I love this dress!

On the hanger, this was the most beautiful dress, you can tell that it is very good quality material. However, the dress was not flattering on my body (5"2, 108 lbs, size 0). The embroidery though beautiful, makes the dress heavy, and it tends to pull down rather than flare out. Also, it scoops a bit more low than it does in the photo, which isn't very complimentary when you don't have the chest to fill it out. I ended up returning it, but I can see how on another body type this might be. really good option!

I really was hoping to hate this dress because of the price point, but after viewing it online everyday for two weeks straight I decided to ship it to the store so if I hated it when I tried it on, I could immediately return it. Much to my dismay, I absolutely adore this dress. I don’t like wearing long dresses since I’m 5’3, but the short slip underneath (sits just above my knees) gives the mixed illusion of short and long, and when you spin in this dress it’s absolutely amazing. Bought the red color for fall weddings, in the south can wear it as is, in the north can wear with a leather jacket, for fancy dinners I can add a thick black leather belt with the leather jacket. Super versatile, super flattering (it actually works on me with DDD chest), and there’s no way I can return this one!
