Maxwell Square Neck Long Sleeve Gown

It’s really hard for me to find a dress in my late 40s. Not too sexy and not too granny. This dress was a perfect mix of flattering your shape without too much boobage.i felt comfortable wearing it inside a church for a wedding as my shoulders weren’t out either. Only issue was that I found there was damage, a pull in the mesh underneath the armpit area, as I was trying it on. I didn’t have time to exchange it, but watch for those little snags in the mesh before you cut those tags. Not sure this is even repairable. Dress is also long on short peeps like me, 5’3”. 130lbs. 32DD. With 4” heels, it still dragged a bit.

I ordered a medium and I’m hourglass shaped - 5’8 and 150 pounds. The top was almost too large in the bust and has boning strips that only provide support that wasn’t really enough in the top. The hips/tummy were a little too tight and the tiny bit of belly I have wasn’t flattered by the fit. This was made for women with a larger bust and not much hip or belly, because if you have any you’ll feel squeezed. Also I wish it was just a bit longer because I really like my dresses to just cover my shoes if I’m wearing heels and it’s much easier to remove fabric then to add it on. The construction is a good quality and I really like the sheer stretchy sleeves - but the rest of the dress fabric doesn’t stretch at all. Only works if you have the right body shape and height.
