Perfect for Formal wedding
Everything about this dress was ideal and perfect for a formal wedding! I love the versatility of the belt and wrapped it around front. (I love the pockets!) Didn’t snag, fit in all the right places and was so forgiving. Size L fits a standard 12.

Fits nicely, awful fabric
This dress drapes really nicely, but the fabric is cheap and can snag easily. This quality is something I’d expect from Asos or Lulus, but not DTP. Bummer.

pretty but had a few flaws
This dress was really beautiful but made of very hot, non breathable fabric and it had terrible odor. Maybe the dye in fabric but was too afraid to chance it so back it went.

Had Potential
Sadly I will be returning this one for various reasons. The material looks cheap in person. It was a weird shine to it that I did not find attractive in person. The sizing is also a bit strange. I am usually between a M and L in dresses varying between 8-10. I purchased this dress in both a L and XL. The L was too big up top and I am a 34DD. It gave the appearance that I was heavier up top and looked frumpy. The waist tie belt is nice for cinching in your waist and creating more structure. However, the belt itself is not wide so I ultimately did not like the way the belt had to overlap itself multiple times around the waist. The belt is extremely long so you can tie around your waist at least 2 times. As for length, I am 5'3" and the dress was too long even with 4 inch heels. You would need to get this altered likely. I will say that the leg slit is good and does not cut up too high on the leg. Wish I would have loved this more but sadly I will be returning.

Feels like a graduation gown
For almost $300, there's no reason why this dress should feel this cheap. The material looks silky online, but in person it looks and feels like a graduation gown—no thanks. The zipper is also frustrating; there's a seam around the waist that for some reason causes it to catch, making it hard to zip up even when I'm not wearing it. I don't mind the actual design of the dress; the neckline is low but not so plummeting that I couldn't still wear a bra with it, and while I would need to hem it by at least 6 inches, that would be a simple adjustment that wouldn't hurt the look of the dress. And there are pockets. If I'd bought it for $34.99 on Amazon, I'd probably make it work, but I absolutely do not think it is worth the price. Will be returning.

love this dress!
Bought this for my sister’s wedding. I absolutely love it and can’t wait to wear it! Plus the dress is named after me. :)
