Original Collection 'London' Block Heel Bootie

My feet are somewhere in between 6.5-7 but I almost always purchase size 7 in close-toed shoes. And, I ordered 7 in these and they fit fine. So if you're in between sizes, go with the larger one. They are slightly tight but not that small to go up a 1/2 size. The toes of these boots are fairly stiff so you wouldn't want your feet sliding to the front.

This boot is CUTE. The reptilian pattern adds a nice contrast texture (though pebbled would have been preferred) and is not overly conspicuous. The bed of the foot is indeed a comfy memory foam material. Despite the heel being 3" (I'm a wimp and would have preferred it a little shorter) I feel I would be able to walk in these for an extended length of time compared to other similar boots. The leather has a sheen to it and feels pretty stiff but I think it would soften up over time. The sole is a non-skid/textured rubber and is quiet and doesn't squeak on slicker floors. HOWEVER the sizing is atrocious. I'm usually a solid 10 and I could barely fit my foot in the right one even without a sock on and the left one was the same but instead of being extremely tight, was oddly much roomier, particulary in the heel and ankle. They fit as though they were a full size smaller than a 10. I will be ordering another 10 and an 11 (makes my feet sound so big :\) to see if this is just a fluke. If the sizing weren't an issue, this shoe would be 5 stars as I have tried ever boot under the sun from cheap to shockingly expensive and this is the only one that has impressed me with it's comfort.

The size does run small. Per the previous reviews, I ordered a 7 instead of my usual 6.5 and it works. The leather is not as shiny as shown in pics. It is in between a kid leather and pebble leather. But there is nice cushioning in the foot bed. They are a bit difficult to get on - there is a loop in the back but it is too small to fit your finger so it is useless. This was my fourth and final attempt at a black bootie with a decent heel height. I wore them the first time with no discomfort.

I already had these in the tan color, and I love them, so I bought them in black when they went on sale. I'm an 8 but these run small, so 8 1/2 work great. They are stylish and comfortable. It's a cliche´, but you can dress them up or down.

These seem to be comfortable boots though I haven't worn them for a full day yet. I ordered a half size larger after reading the reviews. .I usually wear a 9. The 9 1/2 last was too long so I reordered a 9. The 9 is a little tight but the 9 1/2 wouldn't have worked. I think they will fit okay since my foot isn't too wide. If you have a wider foot, this boot may not be a good choice.
