Do not order down
I was super excited to order a pair of Dr. Marten's Pascal boot, especially because I love that these boots they were more matte then shiny and the leather is a lot softer compared to the other styles.
Before ordering on-line, I made sure to read the comments on whether or not to size up or down. I bounce back and fourth with a 7.5 and 8, so most of the comments said to size down. I ordered a 7 and when they came in I tried them on and they were way too small for me! Ladies if you are a size 8 truly and with wide feet I would stick to the 8's and not size down at all which was such a disappointment to me.. Luckily for me I live close by to a Nordstroms and was able to exchange them for an 8! The size 8's are a bit roomy so I'm actually glad because I will be able to wear thicker socks with them! Too bad they don't come in 1/2 sizes because I think a size 7.5 would have been perfect!

So uncomfortable
So disappointed these shoes hurt my feet are so narrow and the top stitching cuts into the top of my foot. Tried a size up and they were way to big. Sending all pairs back. I have never had that problem in any shoe. Sorry but don't waste your money

cute but painful to break in
These shoes are very versatile and cute. Good shoe to have during colder and wet weather. However they have been very painful to break in. The back rubs my heel raw and causes blisters, I put some moleskin and it’s a bit better but still gets a little tender after a long time. The top by the base of where the laces start, the leather is so hard it hurts top of feet. Im hoping that after a couple more wears these will become the comfortable boots everyone talks about. Definitely carry bandaids with you the first couple times you wear !

Age appropriate for any age!
I purchased these boots in the color, "Coal". I had a pair of Docs that literally lasted 20 years so far.....still have them...still beautiful.
I loved the style of this boot and was a bit hesitant as I am 64 and didn't want to look inappropriate for my age. I was actually purchasing a pair for my granddaughter for Christmas and decided to take the plunge and get a pair too. Well they arrived, I opened the box and screamed with delight! The color is a beautiful silver gray....they fit perfect with enough room for socks (I wear an 8 1/2 and bought a size 8)....and they are comfortable! I wear them with jeans, mid calf dresses and even leggings with a long shirt. So stylish.....but not overly trendy. A classic look with great current style. I adore my boots!!!!!

The comfiest and most flexible boots!
I could never wear Dr Martens because I couldn’t stand the break-in period. These require ZERO breaking-in!! Comfortable from the start, super flexible and soft leather. Not too heavy to wear all day. Look amazing with jeans or leggings. Run a bit larger than other styles, if you are between sizes go down. I am a US 7.5/8, EU 38 in most designer, and I sized down to a US 7 and they were a perfect fit.
