An iconic shoe that started in 1901 as a tough workwear boot went on to become a symbol of self-expression and rebellious attitude when musicians and underground youths began wearing Dr. Martens in the 1960s. Today, the enduring brand continues to cut across class and culture, appealing to a wide range of individuals who have in common a sense of their own unique style.
Best investment !! I don’t really like the lace up docs and knew when I saw these they were the one for me !! Must size down for sure, run big! Super comfy a bit hard to put on sometimes but well worth it p

Narrow Opening, Disappointed
These are so cute and that’s what makes it all the more awful that I can’t get these on for the life of me! I have narrow size 5.5 feet, got my usual Dr. Martens 5, and I can’t get my foot through the opening. I have other Dr. Martens Chelsea boots and have no issues slipping my foot in with those. I have normal-slim ankles, so I don’t think that’s the issue. Maybe my high arches make it impossible? The quality is great, these are lovely shoes, but you’re lucky if you can get your foot in. So bummed I have to return.

GET!
I’m not sure about the negative reviews, I love these! I’m usually a 9.5, I bought the 9’s and they fit perfect. They’re chelsea boots, so it takes some getting used to putting them on and taking off. Not a big deal. I use with my own insole, which makes the fit more snug for my narrow foot. I’m 52.. I wear these all the time with maxi skirts, nice ankle pants and jeans! They are so comfortable & fun! And I get compliments ALL THE TIME from women AND men!! Get them now!!!

tight fit AT FIRST - they do break in!
A lot of review mention that the boots are too tight and that the opening is too narrow. This is true when you first get them, but they break in with just a few wears! I’m a size 10US Women/42EU, and I have pretty wide feet. So when I first got them, I struggled for quite a few minutes to even get one boot on. Once on, they were so tight around the ankles and instep that I ended up ordering a whole size up, even though my toes weren’t touching the front of the boot. While the bigger boots were on their way, I did some research and so many said that the boots had to be broken in, and that you shouldn’t size up if your toes don’t touch the front of the boot. So, I decided to try them out for a couple of days before the bigger boots arrived. I used the blow dryer method - put on some thick socks and use a blow dryer to apply some heat to all sides of the boot. After just about 30 minutes of this, the boots already felt better. For about a week, I put them on for longer and longer periods of time each day while I was home, and before the bigger boots even got here, I had already broken them in. They were no longer tight around the ankles OR in step, and putting them took WAY less time than lacing up any of my other docs. I returned the larger boots without trying them on because of how perfect they fit now. They’re probably my go-to boot now. If you like platforms, definitely add these to your closet!

Perfect hyrbid of classic and edge
I think these are the perfect mix of a classic look and an edgier fashion forward style. I also think these are great if you are trying to go for a Dr. Martens look, but maybe a little more mature or less loud. They are true to size and if they are a little roomy, I recommend thicker socks or adding an insert instead of sizing down. If you size down, they will squish your toes. They are very tight getting your foot in the first couple times, but they do get easier each time you slide them in and out.

so cute! love them!
I usually buy a 7, so I ordered them in size 6 and size 7 based off of reviews. The 7 is definitely roomier. I can’t feel the toe of the boot at all. In the 6s I can just barely touch the front of the boot with my toe if I shift my weight forward. I don’t feel it all when I’m walking or standing normally though. I really wish they did 1/2 sizes!! For now I think I’ll keep the 6s because I like how my feet looks slightly smaller in them and they are still comfortable, but I do wish I had like another 1/4” of length. I’ll return the 7s.
