What it is: An overnight serum with a powerful fusion of retinol, ferulic acid and skin-perfecting niacinamide to fight wrinkles, firm skin and reduce imperfections.
What it does: It works at night while you sleep, when your skin is recovering from daytime aggressors and needs it most. The essential serum smoothes wrinkles, recovers firmness and retexturizes skin so you can wake up to confidence.
How to use: Nightly, massage 2–3 pumps onto clean, dry skin. Follow with any moisturizer. Be sure to use a sunscreen during the day.

Very Good Serum
This is a very good serum. I use it nightly. I have sensitive skin and this product does not cause a problem. I also use a good moisturizer over the serum and find that it does the job. I am often told that I have nice skin. I think that it is a combination of finding the best products. I consider this serum as one of the best I have used.

Waste of money
I give this Serum 1 star. The only thing I like about it is the dispenser. I have been using this product as well as this Brand moisturizer twice a day and see no difference in my facial skin tone or even the slightest smoothing of fine lines. There is no exfoliation. I have used many other less expensive products that do exfoliate causing brighter skin. Don't waste your money on this Brand.

Very Good Serum

Dr. G F+R Serum: Smooth Skin
This coral colored creamy serum is gentle, unscented and absorbs quickly. When used at night with a high performance moisturizer, my skin was soft, smooth, firm, with no redness, sensitivity to retinol or visible fine lines. Effective and high performance, as expected from a dermatologist's skincare line.

gentle but effective
I had been using a different retinol but wasn’t really seeing a difference so I tried this after having had good results with Dr Gross’s eye serum and I have already seen a difference. It’s a bit stronger yet still gentle enough for my slightly sensitive skin.

Potent but gentle on your skin
Using retinol is a great way to prevent premature aging but some products tend to be drying and too much for sensitive skin. I tried different brands and I wasn't happy. Those products made my skin flaky and too dry. On the other hand, this product is gentle and it's good for introducing retinol in your skincare routine. The price is reasonable and it'll last many months. It's also potent yet gentle for my acne prone skin. I am a new fan of Dr. Dennis Gross skincare products.

Keeping me young
Since I’m firmly ensconced in my mid thirties Ive finally dedicated myself to a daily facial beauty regimen, better late than never! I feel like dr. Dennis Gross allows slackers like me to catch up to everyone else in the beauty race even though I’m late to the game. His products are worth every cent, and reasonably priced. I used to use the ferulic + retinol anti-aging moisturizer which I loved but I can’t find it anymore, so I decided to replace it with this and the c + collagen moisturizer and I’m happy with the substitution. Works great on the fine lines I had on my forehead and keeps the occasional hormonal acne I get by my mouth in check (I also use the alpha beta peel pads to help with that as well, love those!!) I find that two squirts of this every night after washing with the dr Dennis gross pore perfecting cleansing gel and followed by the C + collagen is keeping me looking young and fresh (and with three kids 8 and younger that is no easy feat!).
