What it is: An innovative, light-textured sun serum for the face that provides SPF 50 protection.
What it does: An active complex of cassia extract, vitamin E and beta-glucan protects the skin and promotes the regeneration of damaged cell structures. A few drops of the serum can be mixed with your face cream or applied undiluted.
How to use: You can use Sun Drops on its own five minutes after your cream, or add a few drops to your cream. Applying a diluted mixture of sunscreen and cream will reduce the level of sun protection indicated. Avoid intensive midday sun. Reapply frequently in order to maintain protection, especially after perspiring or drying off with a towel. Do not overexpose yourself to the sun, even if you're using sunscreen. Use once or twice per day.

Worked in the Palm Desert! No sunburn!
It seems like these drops would have no effect whatsoever. But I can attest I started using them while on vacation in the Palm Desert and they work! Spent all kinds of time in the sun and never got even close to a sunburn. And I'm very very fair skinned! Also most SPF products leave my skin very greasy or I break out. I cannot even tell I used these drops because my skin just soaks them up! Excellent product which I now use religiously every day.

My problem isn't with the formulation of this product. It lives up to its very simple function and blends pretty well into the skin. I knew that it was outrageously expensive when I took the plunge and purchased it so I'm not going to gripe about the price point either. The problem I have with this stuff is that the dropper is completely useless and for the price of this product you should receive a product that doesn't have faulty packaging. My bigger complaint though, is there is so little product in the bottle and I'm skeptical that this actually has the advertised 1 full ounce as it states on the bottle. My other sunscreen is also 1 ounce, but even so, it usually lasts at least a good 2 months with daily usage. The Dr. Barbara Sturm sun drops were gone within a month with only sporadic usage(at $145 a bottle I just couldn't bring myself to use this too liberally.) Do yourself a favor and save your $$$ to invest in better skincare.

It pills off.
I applied this to clean skin and all of it rolled off in little white balls, leaving nothing but a greasy film. There's no way that it can work to protect the skin if 80% of the product is lost upon application, and it would be gross to use with makeup. Awful.

peels all the time
This stuff was great at first but now I can’t keep it on my face! It peels non stop even without product layering.

This was the worst sunscreen I have ever used, and I’ve used many. It’s a chemical sunscreen that comes in a thick liquid base. When applied, the shine is horrendous. I’m not exaggerating when I say it looks like you’ve slathered on coconut oil, and it does not dry down...ever. I had to use a mattifying powder to look decent. You also definitely can feel it, it’s very sticky and flyaway hairs will stick to your face. If this were a less trustworthy brand I’d say they bought CVS-brand sunscreen, bottled it, and called it a day. I also question what they were thinking packaging a sunscreen in a dropper bottle...it boggles the mind. It drips everywhere and to get full coverage you need multiple pipettes because the suction power isn’t enough and you get a quarter pipette each time. You’re much better off with Shiseido if you want a beautiful finish with higher protection, or Neutrogena and Cerave, both which feel much better on the skin.

Sun Drops
These Sun Drops are awesome! Worn alone, they're extremely sticky and don't dry down. I mix them with my moisturizer and couldn't be happier!
