What it is: A handpoured vegetable-wax candle crafted in Los Angeles with a wintry scent inspired by drizzly walks in ancient fir forests.

Fragrance story: Lighting this candle conjures the forest wind. As the wax warms and the essential oils begin to travel, forest air fills the room with a crisp, smoky, subtly vegetal aroma that quiets the outside noise and tunes us in. Anchored by Vetiver, Douglas Fir, Angelica Root and a hint of Basil.

The most natural scent from Flamingo Estate

I'm not one for flowery, perfume-like scents or cloying aftershave (Agrigento Olive Tree ... nope) or sharp, jarring greens (Heirloom tomato or Rosemary Clary Sage ... nope) scents. I'm sensitive to scents and strong ones, especially at close quarters for a long duration, give me a headache. But, this one. It truly smells natural, like walking in a pine forest after a rain with a little bit of camp fire smoke lingering. When burned, your guests will probably notice it but it's not overt and cloying. For those who NEED their candle to take over their space to justify its price tag, this isn't for you. This will be my third purchase.
