So there is no finishing a bomb make up application without a powder to set the look. All powders are not made equally, so finding the ideal powder can be tricky. My ideal powder will stay on for hours without creasing and absorb oil. Estee Lauder makes some phenomenal products so I was excited to try the Double Wear Pressed Setting Powder at no cost to me for my honest opinion on the product. Now my skin tends to get a bit oily so I was curious to see if this powder could keep my makeup in tact throughout the day. I was very pleasantly surprised at how well my makeup still looked after a busy day. I did reapply in the middle of the day for a touch up but that was all. My make up stayed put and I still had a fresh looking application in the evening. I would definitely recommend trying this product. This is by far the best powder I've used. It covers any imperfections and texture I might have, leaving my face looking like I have a IRL filter! I use the puff the powder comes with to press the powder onto my face which leaves it with a natural matte finish. It feels weightless on my skin and is great at reducing shine. I reapply after a couple of hours because my face is naturally very oily, but the powder makes it a quick and easy process. I love it! This powder glides on like an absolute dream. It is very very fine, silky and pressed. Doesn't settle into or emphasize lines just gives a matte perfection. No real smell, did not clog my pores or irritate my skin. Lasted all day even running around outside! Gives a beautiful glow and is a great tone match!

This setting powder (light/medium) has been working quite well for me. I usually set my face with a light dusting of setting powder and this was exactly what I needed. The setting powder is super lightweight and fine. It didn’t change the color of my products or react negatively with anything I was using. It didn’t clog my pores or cause me to break out. I enjoy the design of the compact as it was perfect for use on the go and throughout the day. I’d recommend this product. Overall I really enjoy this powder! I do prefer to apply it with a powder brush over applying it using the puff it comes with as it’s a little too heavy/concentrated when using the puff but if you prefer very full coverage you’ll likely prefer the puff. Keeps my face matte through the day and sets my makeup perfectly. Also I like that this powder does not have a scent. I do wish the packing was a little different it’s beautiful but the top part is matte so it picks up very clear fingerprints from regular use.
