Double Chocolate Platform Loafer (Women)

I’ve been eyeing the various Prada loafers for some time now and when I saw these at my local Nordstrom, I had to have them. They are beautifully made and give just the right amount of pizzaz to any fall outfit. I’ve worn them with jeans and slacks to work and received endless compliments. They have some weight to them and are on the stiffer side, so keep that in mind. I’m more of a style over comfort person and find them comfortable enough and extremely stylish. 10/10 highly recommend! I bought my usual size 6.5 and they fit well.

I do not have wide feet at all in fact, they run on the narrow side and I am consistently a 9 1/2 but mostly a 10 in every single shoe. I read a lot of reviews on these shoes before choosing my regular size 10 because people said these run large but a little narrow so I figured if I go with my regular size they should work. First, I could barely squeeze my foot into the shoe and when I did my entire foot felt like it was in a grip, they were so tight and uncomfortable. I read online about methods to stretch them out but, when you’re paying this much for a shoe, you shouldn’t have to take them to a cobbler or run a hairdryer over them or whatever technique to stretch them out to make them remotely comfortable. They are definitely cute and different looking, but there’s no trade-off for comfort. Hard no.
