Double Breasted Wool Blend Peacoat

The shorter length is good for the higher waisted pants and should cover an average sweater. The details are nice. The flaps conceal real pockets that are deep enough to hold a cell phone or wallet. It has an updated classic look. The fabric feels nice and should work for Northern Ca winters which at this point feel theoretical :-)

This coat is lovely and good quality, but I would pass if you are tall and not flat chested. I usually assume the models are tall, so it should hit my mid section in about the same place, but no. I’m 5’8”, DD and wear a size 12. The coat fits, it’s just that it hits well above my waist so every shirt I have, even if tucked in, shows and it looks sloppy for such a tailored jacket. There is room for my chest, but the space they take up shortens the length even more than it already is. I would classify the length as a petite cut. The shoulders are a little boxy too. I’m sure this looks amazing on the right body type, just not mine.

I love this coat! If you are on the petite side, the length is very flattering. I normally wear an 8 but grabbed this in a 10 and the sleeves aren’t tight and I can wear a sweater underneath. If you’re on the taller side then I would pass on this coat. But it’s lovely for shorter girls. Go up one size though.

This jacket is beautifully tailored, quality made and fits great! I ordered both the 12 and the 14 because I usually fall in between the sizes. They both fit well, but am deciding if the little bigger 14 would be best to wear for sweaters or layers underneath. I am 5’4” and 168 lb. I like Sam Edelman quality and fit and feel confident buying this designer again. Plus I like getting quality and a classy look for an affordable price!
