Italia Bootie (Women)

Back in my 'suits and heels' working days, I had a couple pairs of Donald Pliner booties that I ran into the ground. They were SO comfortable and stylish. Then the office got more casual, and I stopped wearing heels. Now, I'm old enough that the days of 3+ inch heels are long gone. But, I still like the look for pants and longer dresses, so these were a find! They look great, the platform makes them very wearable. I bought both blacks and am looking at the DJP platform boot for a more casual look.

Comfortable, pretty boot but I would say runs a half-size small. I normally wear a 6.5 shoe and 7 tennis shoes. I tried both sizes and the 7 was definitely more comfortable in the toe box because of the tapering of the shoe and the length was fine. Looks cute on and is not overwhelming for a 5'1" frame.

Ordered these in biscotti (which is a gorgeous color) in size 7. I usually wear 6.5 or 7 and I have fairly high arches. I find them to be comfortable and they look great. If I had to name a fault it would be that I was hoping the shaft of the boot would hug my ankle just a tiny bit more. Still they are well made and very flattering. I think they are a great buy for the price. I can see them with flares or boot cut jeans, pants or a midi skirt/dress. Love the heel and the color. Will be great for fall/winter. Actually great year round.

I bought a black textile version of these with a slightly different shape for the heel in the '22 sale and they quickly became my favorite ankle boot ever. True to size, incredibly comfortable to wear and walk in all day long, and go with literally everything. When I saw these pop up in this year's sale I immediately snagged the biscotti. I would have bought both colors, the fit is so good, but the pair I bought last year still look like new.
