Halie Slingback Moc Toe Loafer (Women)

I've been looking for comfy loafers but wasn't sure about the slingback, so I didn't include these in my first Anniversary Sale order. I kept coming back to them and I'm so glad I did! Color is gorgeous, super comfy, and a lug sole that gives me a little lift but not so overpowering that they seem clunky. It's hard to find a outsole that looks tailored. Now contemplating ordering black, too!

I’ve had these for 1 day and they are comfortable so far but I’m disappointed with the quality for being Donald Pliner. If you look closely, the left and right shoes don’t exactly match. Colors are a bit off and the stitching on one looks bigger than the stitching on the other on the middle flap. Also, you can see that they didn’t cut the leather completely straight.

Finally, a loafer that I can slide my high instep foot in. This loafer has a soft and shiny leather that is comfortable and forgiving. The sole is thicker but flexible. It gives you height, but doesn't feel like you are walking on a block of wood. The slingback feels great and makes the shoe look expensive. I plan to teach in this all day in the fall.

I have problem feet: narrow heels,flat feet, bunions, and slightly narrow. I haven’t been able to find comfortable loafers because of my problem feet, so I thought I’d give these slingback a try. Not only are my bunions not complaining but my narrow heels are also not an issue. The leather strap that extends under the wide buckle is also slightly wider than the strap itself so the metal buckle doesn’t touch your skin. Also, in spite of the stylish chunky heel, this is not a heavy clunky shoe!!!! This shoe is style and comfort for my problem feet. I’m very happy with this purchase. I hope they make a dark brown in this style.
