Cassidy Knee High Boot (Women)

I loved the look of these boots so much that I ordered both the 6.5 & 7 for my narrow running feet. I find most boots have too high a heel and these are the perfect blend of height and walkability. The 6.5 fit better unfortunately, however the calf was too wide for me even with the stated circumference of 13. The leather is so soft and beautiful, I found it slipped down and gathered around my ankle. It just wasn't for me which is really too bad because the heel is so interesting and really makes the boot into something special! I think they'll be great for someone not as petite as me (5'1'', 103)

I literally bought and returned 4 pairs of black boots before I found these. I thought I had very simple criteria - 2"-3" heel, black, slim calf (no more than 14" calf circumference), and under $800. Absolutely impossible! It's like I were looking for a tuxedo dress - I can have a tuxedo or a dress. Not both. The factors are completely at odds with each other. Until these. I was worried that the studs on the heels would be too "decorative", to the degree of being tacky. Not so. It surprisingly upped the chic scale. And it's comfortable.

Comfortable and nice heel. The square toe is different. I wear these to work with dresses and they are fitted around my skinny calves enough to be worn under slacks. HOWEVER...after only 3 wears the leather at the front of the shoe is peeling off. Not what I would expect for shoes at this price point and a reputable name. I am disappointed by the quality.
