'Ohanna' Over the Knee Boot (Nordstrom Exclusive)

I debated back and forth on these for about a day before I finally decided to take the plunge and order these boots in the saddle color. I received them a few days later thanks to Nordstrom's fast, free shipping and was so happy I did. These boots are even more gorgeous in person. As others have noted, the suede is excellent quality. Sturdy enough to withstand normal wear and tear, especially once these are waterproofed but still soft enough that they don't look fake. The saddle color is a really gorgeous cognac in person that will go with quite a bit in my wardrobe. Part of the reason I was hesitant is because I have somewhat muscular calves and I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to get these on, much less wear them over skinny jeans but I had absolutely no issues in that department. Plus, since these are suede they'll continue to conform to my leg the more I wear them. I'm typically a size 6 and I was able to try the size 6 on in store. My normal size fit fine but I went up to a size 6 1/2 because I have a high instep and that makes these a little easier to get on and off. The 6 1/2 fit well too, especially with a thin sock so I think these run pretty true to size. I'm used to wearing heels and the heel height on these seems fairly comfy from wearing them around the house. Since I'm only 5'3", these easily come up over the top of my knee. I can already see myself wearing these with dresses and skirts to work and with skinny jeans on the weekend. Highly recommend these if you're able to get them. I loved the saddle so much, I ordered the anthracite too because I was able to see it in store and loved the rich gray color. These are by far my favorite purchase from the anniversary sale!
