Alina Satchel

I was drawn to this because it’s described as a satchel—I like satchels and generally don’t like clutches. But functionally, this feels much more like a clutch. The sculptural shape is beautiful, understated, and elegant, and it holds a surprisingly good amount inside. The handle looks great, but it isn’t especially comfortable to grip for long, so I end up carrying the bag more like a clutch than a satchel. I also wish there were an option to add a strap. I almost never use straps because I usually think they take away from the look, but I still want the option. The other drawback is the closure. It doesn’t close as securely or cleanly as I would like, so it can feel a little awkward rather than neatly shut. I still really love the contours and the understated evening-bag look. It’s stunning. It’s just not quite as functional as I had hoped, but as an evening bag I think it works beautifully. And I don’t think it has to be saved for formal events; I could easily see carrying it out with the girls or for a night out when I want something a little more special.

Perfect size small bag that fits all essentials. Doesn’t look like faux leather.

Great size and classic style. My new go to bag…even though I have a closet filled with high end designer options. Love that it is understated.
