Basic,classic, pretty
You would think a basic black skirt or dress would be easy to find but it's not. I thought about the poka dot and then decided I need that skirt that hangs in your closet to be brought out for certain occasions. I am going to wear this year round. It's comfortable and dressy. It fits well. So glad I ordered it.

Can't wear with Fabric causing static
1) This could have been a perfect pleated skirt, had they chosen another type of fabric like rayon or silk for lining. 2) The type of polyester on polyester makes the skirt so static that u can not move or walk in it a it constantly goes in between your legs. Also the top poly fabric attracts all the dust and whatever it is in surrounding or due to the same static. 3) The logo on the band of the skirt doesn't let u tuck most tops underneath. Not everyone wants to show a logo of a clothing. The overall skirt is a good length and cut if they correct above issues and reproduce it.

DKNY logo
Skirt is overall very cute but I was disappointed when I received it and saw the very apparent DKNY logo on the waistband. You can't really see it in the photos but it is obvious when you see it on person. I was hoping to tuck a shirt in for a holiday party but the logo is just too much. Otherwise soft and comfy and true to size. Maybe better if you're wearing with a sweater or something that covers the waistband.

Lovely skirt
This is exactly what I was looking for. A dressy black skirt that has a little extra flair that separates it from run-of-the-mill black skirts. It is flattering and comfortable. I'm 5'7" and it is midi-length - as pictured. It is light and breezy, will pair with several different top options, and will pack well.
