PURE Chunky Knit Throw Blanket

Yes it's super soft, yes it's all cotton. Guess what? It sheds like crazy and can only be spot cleaned. When washed it will start fray and fall apart and overall look like a dingy old blanket not like a $78 premium knit throw. Just don't do it. I don't understand where the positive reviews came from, especially about being able to wash it (sigh). Will be returning pronto.

I honestly can’t believe the good reviews of this blanket, unless the reviewers have it on light colored bedding in a spare bedroom or something. Yes it’s soft and thick, but it sheds like CRAZY. I went over it several times with a lint brush and even threw it in the dryer on air fluff to de-lint it. It still shed everywhere, you could see fluff flying off of it if you picked it up. Unfortunately that is totally not doable for me so I returned it. Thank goodness for Nordstrom’s customer service.

I bought this for myself despite negative reviews. Primarily the issue was shedding. When I got mine, I ran it through the fluff dryer cycle a few times. It says to spot clean only. However, I ran it through a cold cycle on delicate and dried it on a lower setting. It turned out beautiful, so I bought two more for my daughters. They did the same and LOVE the blanket. It is a medium heavy weight and is wrap up cozy. Definitely would recommend.

Was initially thrilled when this arrived! Such beautiful and chunky texture, Threw on my bed, loved the look. Immediately noticed it shed badly. Thought I’d was it to rid the shedding. Checked wash instruction... SPOT CLEAN ONLY. What. I can’t own a off white blanket and not be able to wash or even dry clean. After checking what it was made of felt to risky to try and wash it. Sadly it was returned.
