First reaction is that it is a lot bigger than I expected, although the measurements are correct. The marble tray isn’t curved, which was surprising and is kind of annoying. There’s a gap between the marble and gold, but it doesn’t appear to be functional, so I expect this may be the dealbreaker for me very soon. Last, the bottom has a neoprene type pad, which may be functional, but it creates a uneven bottom- and this is the really annoying thing. Aside from the above, if you’re using this in a guest bathroom, go for it. It’s gorgoeous and high quality, just not the best for high traffic areas where the soap has a higher likelihood of getting “goopy” from sitting in water too long.
