What it is: This set of three mini candles by diptyque brings warmth and fragrance to your own home or makes the perfect gift for someone special.
Set includes:
- Baies/Berries Candle (2.5 oz.): an irresistibly fresh and fruity scented candle composed of note of freshly picked blackcurrant berries alongside flowery accents of rose that warms your heart and home
- Figuier/Fig Candle (2.5 oz.): a fragrant, elegant candle scented with the fruity fragrance of fig
- Roses Candle (2.5 oz.): a fresh, floral scented candle that fills your home with the floral scent of roses
Pro tips: The first time you burn your diptyque candle, allow it to burn for at least two hours until the whole top is liquid with wax to help your candle burn more evenly next time. Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4-inch length, which will allow the candle to burn slowly and will help avoid unsightly black marks around the edge of the glass. After blowing out your candle, recenter and straighten the wick.

There's a reason these scents are the most popular, and that's because they're widely loved by everyone! I bought this trio set to put around the house, but I ended up giving one of them away as part of a gift. This set is fantastic because it provides some variety for your space, each one with a unique scent profile. They're all kind of polarizing so you probably wouldn't want to light them all at once or in the same area, at least. Baies is classic and welcoming, Roses is romantic and dramatic, Fig is playful and fun! You save a couple dollars for buying the set of three rather than buying each individually, so it's a little bit of a deal.

Overrated candle
I bought the sample set and was excited to try it out since most (if not all) the beauty and fashion bloggers have this in the background and even recommend purchasing this during the big sale. Yes, it is pretty. The scent is faint. When I light a scented candle, I expect the entire room to smell like the candle. I can stand a foot away and still can’t smell the lit candle. I’d rather spend my money on a yankee candle or woodwick candle. They are of much better quality.

Love the smells, but buy in store!
I've bought this item twice from nordstroms, once in store and once online. The candles itself are amazing. They smell great and are long lasting! The first time I bought it store, the candles were packaged great, unfortunately the second time I bought them, I must have been unlucky, or the box missed some type of quality control. It seemed like the wax maybe melted during storage and got moved around. There was wax residue on the paper inside and all over the individual candles. I didn't bother returning it since it was for myself and the wick was still intact, but definitely buying in store next time.

Don't understand the hype
The scent is not strong at all. I don't even. Price it at all even when I'm sitting right next to it. They're not worth the money at all. I'm not sure why they are so raved about.

Fa-La-La
Never shopped for Diptyque before, so I was taking the plunge when I bought these three candles, but they all smell wonderful ! Next time I'll buy the full sized candles.

Perfect Set
These three candles are perfect for a gift or for yourself! I plan on giving one to each of my girlfriends this Chirstmas. As for now I have the "roses" in the extra bedroom, the figuier in the bathroom, and the baies in the office! Will be buying the large sizes when these run out.
